Carolyn Sue Hines of Rockford, IL departed this earthly life September 6, 2020. She was born February 7, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of  Charles and Dorothy Hines. Carolyn lived most of her life in Rockford coming from Louisville.  She was employed by Anderson Packaging 10 years before becoming ill. Carolyn was a member of St. Luke missionary Baptist Church.  She graduated from West High School.

Carolyn leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Kimnise (Corey) Clark and Rakesha Hines; three grandchildren, Torie, Dorien and Nicholas; Melanie (Gregory) Harris, Angela Hines,  Stacey Hines, Sharon Hines and Penny Sims; Kenneth (Yolanda) Hines, Darryl Hines, Andre Hines and Maurice (Rachel) Gulley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including special Aunt, Barbara Green and special friends Kitty Callands and Willie Wilks. She was predeceased by her parents, and brothers Ray Charles and Rickey Hines.
