Alana Christine "Lana"  Jones, of Rockford departed this earthly life March 23, 2025. She was born October 6, 1963 in Chicago IL the daughter of  Allen and Alice Jones. Alana lived in Rockford 17 years coming from Chicago. She married Anthony Tisby December 15, 2010.  Alana was employed as a personal caregiver by Health Care Plus. She was a member of Victory Outreach. She attended John F. Smith School in Chicago.

Alana leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, Anthony Tisby; five daughters, Kimberly (Fred Hammond) Dennis, Barbra Barnette, Alice Barnette, Salithya (Patrick Tunis) Barnette and Toni Barnette; five sons, William (Stephanie) Barnette, Lee Barnette, Richard Barnette, Dwayne Barnette and Terrance Barnette; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; step children, Tavares Jack, Dwaynia Barnette; sisters, Adrian Jones, Aliea Jones, Lee,  Sherry and Trenette Jones; brothers Allen  and Aaron (Linda) Jones;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; four angel babies; sister, Alicia Nixon and brother Aerosted Jones.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 at Victory Outreach 832 Sanford Street.
