Alice Marie Joseph of Rockford departed this earthly life February 19, 2022. She was born August 27, 1953, in Chicago, IL the daughter of J.G. and Mattie Jordan. Alice lived in Rockford since 1967 coming from Chicago. She was employed as a health care assistant by the Department of Rehabilitation Services. Alice was a former member of New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She attended West High School.

Alice leaves to cherish many loving memories, her two daughters, Antineo Joseph and Miranda Davidson; four grandchildren, Jemela, Samira, Symerra and Harmony; two great grandchildren; five sisters, Johnnie Mae Wilson, Charlene (Lawrence) Lee, Barbara (Calvin) Smith, Mary and Rosie Lee; and brother, Willie (Paulette) Jordan; a host of nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Amanda Joseph; brother, Alonzo Mitchell; sons in law, James Fowler and Sammy Davidson.

Services will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
