A lvin Brown of Elgin, IL departed this earthly life, April 20, 2022. He was born August 7, 1961in Rockford, IL the son of Sadie Brown and Alvin Primm. He accepted Christ at an early age in his life with Pastor J.R. McFaddin; and later attended Church under the leadership of Pastor Edward Seals. Alvin lived in Elgin 10 years after leaving Rockford. He graduated from East High School class of 1981 and later attended Highland Community College and went on to complete his studies at Elgin Community College.

A lvin leaves to cherish many memories, his mother, Sadie Brown Coleman; two brothers, Ronnie Brown and Terry (Tammy) Brown; four sisters, Teresa Brown, Veronica Brown, Colleen Brown and Thomascine Brown; brother-in-law, Robert Turner; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
