Andashawn Shaquille " Andy" Howard, of Rockford departed this earthly life July 26, 2024. He was born September 26, 1993 in Rockford the son Brenda Kay Elliott and Anthony B. Howard. Andashawn was employed as a truck driver by Western Express and was self employed running his own carrier business, Brotherly Love LLC. He was a member of United Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Andashawn attended Guilford High School, later receiving his GED from Roosevelt Alternative High School.

Andashawn leaves to cherish many loving memoires, three daughters, Au'Drionah Moore, La'Miyah Howard and La'Reiya Howard; sister, Tationa Elliott; brother, Cortavion Howard; maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Elliott; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including special niece, Alani Anderson; special aunt, Turnia Holliman; special friends, Julia Wynter, Nashira Bailey, Tyler Harper and Lamarious Alexander;  special cousins, Ashanti Graves, Markee'on Neal, Angelo Graves,  Jesse "Pops" Partee and Cleante Beard. He was predeceased by his mother, Brenda Elliott, maternal grandfathers, L.C. Smith and Rufus Holliman .

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024 at  Hope Fellowship 1135 E State Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc.
