Anesa Renee "Nesa" Griffin of Rockford departed this earthly life April 19, 2026. She was born September 13, 1967 in Rockford the daughter of Cornelius Sr. and Beverly Charles. She married Brian Griffin, September 27, 1998 in Rockford. Anesa was employed as an assembler by GE Aviation 8 years. She was a member of City Fist Church. She graduated from Auburn High School class of 1985 and attended Lane College in Jackson, TN.

Anesa leaves to cherish many loving memories, her two sons, Cornell (Jillisa) Bondurant and Ra'Shawn Bondurant; two daughters, Kayla Griffin and Crystal Bondurant; seven grandchildren, Ja'iden, Marianam, Janelle, Treazure, Carter, Kingston and Khy'aire; mother, Beverly  Knox; sister, Felicia Foster; brother Corneluis (Lynne) Charles II; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Cornelius Charles Sr.

Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 3, 2026 at Total Faith Community Church1250 S. Perryville Road, Rockford IL.
