Angela Michelle "Angie" Freeman, of  Rockford departed this earthly life May 19, 2020. She was born February 14, 1970 in Rockford the daughter of Bruce Wilson and Mary Freeman. Angela married Phillip Trammell Sr. December 30, 2016 after being together 22 years. Angela was employed as a manager by McDonald on East St. and Jefferson over 14 years She was a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church,  She attended West High School.

Angela leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Phillip; three daughters, Aquilla Sims, Ivy Freeman and Unique Trammell; sons, Cortez Gayden, Marcus Taylor,  Malek Freeman; 10 grandchildren; including special grandson she was raising, Ja'qouri Trammell; two step daughter, Chavanna Ali and Startisha Trammell; and step son, Javon Trammell; mother Mary Gage, father, Bruce Wilson;  brothers, Michael (Anna) Wilson, Joseph Duckett, and Kenny (Shalisa) Boles;  sisters, Kushana Wilson and Christina (Iva) Hicks; paternal grandmother, Erma Pope;  mother in law, Ella Rose Trammell;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special friends Carl Curtis and Lashunda Taylor. She was predeceased by her son Phillip Trammell Jr; and stepfather, Dennis Gage; maternal grandmother Nellie Freeman.

Moving visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.  Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
