Annie Frances Williams of Rockford departed this earthly life June 1, 2023. She was born April 1, 1946 in Durant, MS the daughter of  Pearlene Galloway and Frank Odie. Annie lived in Rockford since 2005 coming from Chicago, IL. She was employed as a health care giver by Community Care 20 years before retiring. Annie attended Gomez Chapel A.M.E. Church. She attended Hyde Park High School in Chicago.

Annie leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, Tyrone Williams and daughter Lakeshia Williams; two grandchildren; Avani Whittier and Alexander Whittier Jr;  sister, Gaybertnita Odie; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; two daughters, Clara Williams and Frances Medley; two sisters, Annie Pearl Stewart and Mandy Lee Denny.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
