Annisa Carol Henderson of Rockford departed this earthly life January 8, 2023. She was born December 11, 1978 in Rockford the daughter of Alice Gary and Claudell Gulley. Annisa married Terry Henderson March 9, 2018 in Rockford. She was self employed as a child care provider many years. Annisa attended  The Word Worship Center Church. She attended Guilford High School.

Annisa leaves to cherish many loving memories her husband, Terry; stepsons Tavis Merriaman and Lamar Merriaman; step daughter Lynette Merriaman; sister Shawnta Hill; three brothers, Claudell Gulley, Antwone Gary and Nicholas Williams; god children, Rajay Brice, Donovan Green and Araya Allen; father and mother in law, Jimmy and Ernestine Henderson a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and brother Martwane Gary; and her maternal grandmother, Allie Mae McMurtry and paternal grandmother, Zella Gulley Brown.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Hope Fellowship Church 1135 E. State St. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
