Anthony D. "Mouse" Adams Sr. of Rockford departed this earthly life October 15, 2025. He was born January 5, 1975 in Prescott, Arkansas the son Michael Adams and Felisa Shaw. Anthony lived in Rockford 35 years coming from Prescott. He was self-employed as a roofer by Double A Roofing & Siding Inc. serving the Illinois and Wisconsin area 22 years. He was baptized at Munn's Chapel Church in Prescott as a child. He attended East High School, later to receive his G.E.D.

Anthony leaves to cherish many loving memories, his two daughters, Denesha Adams and Alana Lee; two sons, Jonathan (Caitlin) Adams and Anthony Adams Jr;  5 grandchildren: father, Michael Adams; sisters, Yolanda (Briona) Cole, Roshunda Young, Marion Adams, Jessica Porschia and Alicia (Charles) Smith; brother, Eric (De'Aubrey) Murdock; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends including special friends Talish Brown. He was predeceased by his mother, Felisa Young; grandson, Jaylen Adams; great grandmother who raised him, Odessa Shaw.

Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025 at  St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church  2919 19th St. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
