Anthony Antonio Box

Anthony Antonio “Tony” Box of Rockford departed this life September 29, 2026. He was born September 18, 1976 in Rockford the son of Henry Jr. and Bessie Box. Anthony married the former Letela Boyed, August 22, 2020 in Rockford. Anthony was employed as a host by Red Lobster 17 years. He attended Auburn High School.

Anthony leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Letela; two sons. Anthony Box Jr. and Antavious Box; one daughter, Antonisha Box; two grandchildren; four sisters, Sarina Chandler, Faye (Donnell) Jackson, Chentail (Rufus) Barrett and Ashley Box; brother, Henry Box; a host of nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents.

Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Doors open from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
