Antionette “Toni” Wright of Rockford departed this earthly life September 21, 2026. She was born March 23, 1963 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Johnny and Ethel Minst. Antionette lived in Rockford since 1998 coming from Chicago. She was employed by Family Dollar working at the Broadway location while in Rockford and as a secretary many years by Flowers Unlimited while in Chicago.

Antionette was a member of Empowering Word Christian Center and at previous churches she loved singing in the choir. She graduated from Paul Roberson High School in Chicago, later to attend college.

Antionette leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter, Renee Wright; two sons, Robert (Kelly) Wright and Reginald Wright; 10 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; three sisters, Toya Harris, Shawn Harris and Angela Minst; and brothers, Raymond (Deann) Minst and Lamar () Minst and Rondell Minst; a host of other relatives and friends including best friends Dionne and Dawn. She was predeceased by her parents, Johnny Minst and Ethel Harris; brother William Minst and best friend DeeDee.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Doors will be open from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
