Antone D. "Tone" Meadows of Rockford departed this earthly life November 27, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born December 16, 1982 in Rockford the son of Shelese Meadows and Darrell Newby. Antone attended the Salvation Army Church.  He attended Rockford Public Schools later to receive his G.E.D.

Antone leaves to cherish many loving memories, his daughter, Antonasia Meadows; three sons, D'antone Meadows, Antone Meadows Jr., and Daejon Jackson; mother, Shelese Meadows; two brothers, Maurice Jermon and Timothy Hunt; two sisters, Tysha (Panama Russey) Williams and Lindsey Robinson; maternal grandmother, Janice Meadows; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Tracey Muench and Lakisha Mason and special children, who he help raise, Keshar, Joshton and Daviona.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday December 13, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
