Basharee Abdul-Malik "Ba" Washington landed on April 6, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois, as the beloved son of Katrena Warren and Marcel Washington. On August 19, 2026, Ba took off on his next journey, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and meaningful connections that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Ba will be remembered for his healing sense of humor, contagious smile, and the warmth he brought into the lives of others. His presence had a way of making people laugh, feel welcomed, and create memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Basharee leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Katrena Warren and Marcel Washington; his grandmother, Deborah Ross; his brothers and sisters; aunts and uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, including Dominque and Marcus Porchia, Steve Taylor, Akeem Washington, Kayla Washington, Byron Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Monchetta and Marcus German, Carla Warren, Cara Warren, Carl Warren III, Dillon, Phoenix, Noah, and Vernon Ross, Jr.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Until we meet again, Ba.
