Birdie Dean Foreman, of rockford, departed this earthly life, Thursday, July 21, 2022 in her home after a long illness. Born September 29, 1957 in Chidester, AR the daughter of Clifford and Annie Lee Bowens Sr. She moved to Rockford, IL in 1964 coming from Arkansas. In June 1981 she married Nathaniel Foreman. Bridie was employed as a Claim Examiner at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 5 years then various other insurance companies after that. She served the Lord as a minister, Sunday school teacher, and missionary. Her latest membership was held at Liberty Baptist Church. Graduated from West High School class of 1976 then went on to obtain an associate degree.

Birdie Foreman leaves to cherish many loving memories; her husband Nathaniel; three sons, Antoine (Emeka), Demarco (Candy), and James (Caitlin) Foreman; 8 Grandchildren; three brothers Clemon (Doris) Bowens, Clifford (Angela) Bowens Jr., and Jeffrey Bowens; best friends Edwina Huggard and Angel Farris, god-sister Ann Nesby, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm at the Carl E Ponds Funeral Home.
