Carolyn Maxwell, of Rockford departed this earthly life October 30, 2022. She was born July 23, 1964 in Arkansas the daughter of Addie Owens and Robert Maxwell Sr. Carolyn lived in Rockford most of her life coming from Little Rock,  Arkansas. She was employed as a machine operator by Warner Lambert, later to become a caregiver through DORS. She attended  Rockford Public Schools.

Carolyn leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, Joseph Maxwell and daughter in law Angel Maxwell; two daughters, Cabreesha and Monique Maxwell; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Retha Owens and Freddie Mae Billberry; brother Reedle Batten, Eddie (Carissa) Maxwell, Johnny Mozell, Robert Titsworth, Robert Maxwell Jr., Ronnie Maxwell; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend Ricky Rucker. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Andrew Batten.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday November 11, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
