Catherine "Wilson" Patton departed this earthly life September 14, 2022 in Flint, Michigan. She was born March 31, 1959 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Richard Clark Sr. and Readie Wilson-Clark. Catherine graduated from Crane High School and attended Matt Community College. She was employed as a social worker many years, working side by side with her closest friend Pam. Catherine relocated to Flint Michigan after leaving Chicago, looking for a better life. She met and married Chris Patton in Flint.

Catherine leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, Chris Patton;  sisters, Wendy (Marcus) Watkins, Adline Bowen, Evalina Clark and Christina Clark; brothers, Richard Jr. (Hayat Muhammad) Clark, Robert Lee (Lucy) Clark, Darrell Clark, Ronald Clark, Emmanuel (Latoya) Clark and Lawrence Clark; 12 nephews, 21 nieces, and 14 great nephews and 10 great nieces and 1 great great niece; 2 aunts, Ida Mae McCallister and Sally Mae McCallister; uncle, Wit Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
