Cathy Diane Cooper was born to the union of Nello Cooer, Sr. and Lillie McWane Cooper on September 8, 1957, in Chicago, IL.

Cathy departed this life on April 17, 2026 in Rockford, IL.

Cathy was a beautiful, easy going child who was loved and adored by her parents, siblings, family and friends.

Cathy maintained an easy going attitude throughout her entire life. She showed love, respect, kindness and extraordinary compassion toward others.

Cathy was educated in the Chicago Public School system. She later completed job training programs and worked several long term jobs in Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI.

Cathy met, fell in love and married Nickson Bradley in Chicago, IL.

Cathy was preceded in death by both parents; Nello Sr and Lillie Cooper, her husband, Nickson Bradley; one son, Michael Cooper, one brother, Jackie Cooper and two sisters, Vivian Diane and Doris Carol Cooper.

Cathy leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Angela Bradley; six sons, Antoine Cooper, Terrence Cooper, Barry Cooper, David Cooper, Nicholas Cooper and Brandon Cooper; three brothers, Edward McWane, Nello Cooper Jr., and Danny Cooper; grandchildren, great grandchildren; two aunts, two uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
