Cedric LeMoyne Johnson

Cedric LeMoyne “Big Ced” Johnson, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 20, 2026. He was born September 10, 1970 in Rockford, the son of Anthony and Kathryn Johnson. Cedric graduated from East High School.

Cedric leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Shabria Johnson and Shiquaiah Johnson; three grandchildren, Kennedy Williams, Karranton Williams, and Kamdon Rice; mother Kathryn Johnson; brother Daniel Johnson; girlfriend of many years, Lashanta Holmes and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Anthony Johnson.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
