Charles Edward Young departed this earthly life November 9, 2025. He was born February 28, 1959 in Marks, MS the son of Mary Young and JT Leach Sr. Charles lived in Rockford most of his life coming from Marks, MS. He married the former Kimberly Barmore September 19, 1987. Charles was employed as a machine operator by Owens Corning 30 years before retiring. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Charles graduated from Jefferson High School class of 1976

Charles leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Kimberly; son, Bilal (Patrina) Ali; two daughters, Charlesha Young and Chantoya  Young; eleven grandchildren, Chardinae, Brian, De-Arious, DeRyah, DeRyus, De-Avani, Alexa, Marshawn, Allia, Alana and Alaya;  three great grandchildren; Anzio, Bryson and Bryzeir; four sisters; two brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters and two brothers.
