Charmayne L. "Trice" Thomas,  departed this earthly life November 27, 2025. She was  born January 2, 1961 in Chicago the daughter Charles Sr. and Ernestine Baisten. Charmayne lived in Rockford since 2006 coming from Chicago. She was self employed in Home Child Care by TT's Day Care almost 20 years before becoming ill. Charmayne was a member of St. Michaels Baptist Church in Chicago and attended Mt. Saini Baptist Church. She attended Richards High School in Chicago.

Charmayne leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, Stephen Boone; daughter Keneisha Thomas; 8 grandchildren; godson, Jaloni McKay; god daughter RaShida Mason; six sisters, Queen Oladeine, Kimika Baisten, Sharon (Joseph) Yance, Robin Baisten, Sonia Baisten and Angie Baisten; three brothers Charles Baisten II; Michal Kuykindall and Brian (Darlene) Baisten; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters Donna,  Lisa and Yolanda Baisten and two brothers, Tyrone Baisten and Charles W. Baisten III.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. doors will be open form 12:00 noon until the time of service.
