Christine "Stella" Williams of Rockford departed this earthly life December 8, 2022. She was born June 11, 1925 in Harrisville, Mississippi the daughter of Earnest and Paralee Pendleton. Christine lived in Rockford since 1943 coming from Harrisville. She married Harry P. Williams, June 11, 1944 in Rockford, he preceded her in death. Christine was employed as a machine operator by Amerock 26 years before retiring.  She was a member of St Paul Church of God in Christ, serving on the Mothers Board, Usher Board and Minister Wives Circle. Christine attended New Hymn High School in Pinola, MS.

Christine leaves to cherish many loving memories, her three daughters, Beverly Knox, Christine Barfield and Alice (Clarence) Howard; three sons, Harry J. (Patricia) Williams, Charles D. Williams and Raymond Williams; 15 Grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends including special sister in law, Mildred Hempstead. She was predeceased by her parents, husband; four sisters, Elzeanor Lampkin, Dessie Ree Bass, Maggie Lean Harper and Willie Etta Lomax; brother, Jamie Lee Pendleton; daughters in law, Cheryl Denise Williams and Cindy Marie Williams; sons in law Bobby Knox and Aron Barfield; great granddaughter Paris Jones.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. 1001 Bishop Washington Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
