Cozette "Honey" White  of Rockford departed this earthly life February 9, 2025. She was born October 23, 1950 in Brownsville, TN the daughter Willie D. Holloway and Ivory Reed Holloway.

Cozette lived in Rockford since the 1960's coming from Brownsville. She married Arthur White, he preceded her in death.  Cozette was a self employed child care provider in her home over 45 years.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church serving on the Nurses ministry. She attended school in Tennessee.

Cozette leaves to cherish many loving memories, her two sons, Cornelius Mathews and Corey (Nikita) White; grandchildren, Zackary and Savannah Mathews, Cordaija, Nacari, Cori and Corey White;

two brothers, Delender and Ronnie Holloway a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends including special cousins who she loved like her brothers and sister, Jerry ( Teresa ) Terry ( Kimberly) and Clarice Forney.  She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Willie Sam, James Lee and Larry "LV" Holloway; and sisters, Emma Sue and Jeanette Holloway and Claudette King.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church 1720 Morgan Street. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 n. Johnston Ave.
