Curtistine Rosielee "Rose" McCoy of Grovetown, Georgia departed this earthly life July 20, 2022. She was born May 18, 1971 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Kathy Mae McCoy and Glen Ford. Curtistine lived in Grovetown since 2010 after retiring from the U.S. Army.  She was employed as a Staff Sergeant by the United States Army in which she retired after 20 years of service. Curtistine was a member of the S.T.A.R. Social Club in Augusta Georgia. She graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside CA. and received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Phoenix. Curtistine was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.

Curtistine leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter, Bri'Anna Collins; sister, Alisa Robinson; two brothers, Michael McCoy and Johnny (Vivian) McCoy; special nephews, Isaiah Robinson and Michael McCoy; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
