Damon Fondale Walker

Damon F. Walker of Rockford, departed this earthly life May 20, 2026 in Memphis, TN. He was born October 3, 1973 in Rockford the son of Stella Walker and Samuel Turner. Damon graduated from Guilford High School class of 1992 and later received his Business Degree from Rockford Business College.

Damon leaves to cherish many loving memories, his son, Davin Walker; four daughters, Unique, Chole, Allie, and Annabelle Walker; three grandchildren; Anastasia, Netiyah and Leijah; his father, Samuel Turner; four brothers, Brent (Tasha) Walker and Brandon Walker, Corless Sallis and Terrell ; sister La’Quinta Walker; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Stella Walker Armstrong.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 200 N. Johnston Ave. doors will be open from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
