David Dashea Austin of Rockford departed this earthly life October 29, 2022. He was born July 4, 2001 in Rockford the son of Brian Austin Sr. and Necoah Tennin; being raised by Calvin and Brenda McMillian. David was employed as a packer by PSI. He was a member of Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the Choir and as an usher. David was also a member of 100 Strong.  He graduated from Auburn High School

David leaves to cherish many loving memories, one son, Day'Vion D. Austin; mother Necoah Tennin; special aunt and uncle who raised him, Calvin and Brenda McMillian;  three brothers, Neiko and Brian D. Austin Jr., and Devin Allen; seven sisters, Briana and Abony Austin, Qualonda Holland, Joy Austin, T'nika Tennin, Djae and Luckia Austin; a host of niece, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by father, Brian Austin Sr.; and brother, Brian Austin.

Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church 1901 W. State Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
