David Lee Wainwright of Reedsburg, WI departed this earthly life November 27, 2025. He was born May 31, 1963 in Rockford the son of Richard L. and Della Wainwright. David married the former Sommer Steinbrink June 1, 2013 in Elroy, WI. He was employed as a shuttle driver and Sous Chef at Ho Chunk Gaming and Casino. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended West High School, later to graduate from Roosevelt Alternative School. David received his Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts from Madison Area Technical College.

David leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Sommer; son Jeffery Lee Clark; two daughters Andrea Olmstead and Christina Olmstead; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; four, brothers, Ernest Carpenter, Richard C. (Diane) Carpenter, Larry (Marla) Wainwright and Ervin Wainwright; sister Claurisse Wainwright; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Tasha Olmstead; son Dathan Wainwright; two sisters, Diane Williams and Elana Davis; and brother, James Carpenter.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
