Davie Lee Williams, affectionately known to family and friends as "Bruh," was born on February 20, 1951, in Itta Bena, Mississippi, to Elnora Graham Williams and Edd Williams. He peacefully departed this life on May 25, 2026, after an illness.

At an early age, Davie accepted Christ and carried with him a quiet strength and deep love for those around him. He attended Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Illinois, where he excelled in basketball and baseball and participated in community athletics that reflected his determination and love for sports.

At the age of 25, Davie relocated to Compton, California, where he made his home for the remainder of his life. He faithfully dedicated 34 years of service to the food service industry before retiring.

Davie proudly served in the United States Army during the 1970s. His military service reflected his willingness to serve his country with honor.
