De'Kai Willie James Beasley, of Rockford departed this earthly life, December 19, 2021. He was born July 9, 2021 in Rockford the son of De'Karri Beasley and Willa Miles-Beasley. De'Kai attended Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church with his parents.

De'Kai leaves to cherish his short visit here; his parents, De'Karri and Willa; sisters, De"Karri E. Beasley and Charli Patton;  maternal grandparents, Torrie Benford and Willie J. Miles Jr. paternal grandparents, Virginia Johnson and Jesse Jones Jr.;  maternal great grandparents, Willa (Don) Falls, Dewayne (Linda) Johnson and Frances Taylor; paternal grandparents Katie Beasley, Martha (Jesse) Jones; and bonus great grandparents, Rev. Norris and Jessie  Flannigan; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his  maternal great grandfather Willie J. Miles Sr.;  and paternal great grandparents Simon Johnson and Katie Beasley.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church 2209 Clifton Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
