Delores Louise Barrett-Pitts departed this earthly life, Friday, September 6, 2024, in her home surrounded by love. She was born the daughter of Charles and Theresa Barrett April 16, 1957, in Rockford, IL.  She worked in child care for over 40 years before retiring. A member of Hope Fellowship Church. She also enjoyed going to bingo at Northwest Community Center.

Delores leaves to cherish many loving memories, mother; Theresa Barrett, daughters ; Katrina (Terry Brownlee) Patton and Kristin (Phillip) Esquivias, sister; Kimberly (Ramon) Luttery, aunt; DeArmond (Joseph)Shepherd, grandchildren; Deshaun Patton, Elijah Parker, Brooklyn Montoya, Ashlyn Montoya, Phillip "PJ" Montoya, niece, Mya Barrett, nephews; Charles Barrett, Johnathan Luttery and Jamal Luttery, god-daughters Destiny Hannah, Latisha Richardson, Annisa Owens and Aiesha Barbary, god-son Derrel Carter, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by her father, Charles Barrett, brother, Kerry Barrett, maternal grandparents Willie and Georgia Turner, paternal grandparents Cleveland "CH" and Nettie Barrett.
