Delores Diane Pearson, of Rockford departed this earthly life April 1, 2022.
She was born August 15, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Daughter of Jerome and Alberta Lottie.

Delores resided in Rockford for over 25 years after traveling the world.

She was employed by various medical facilities all over the United States doing what she loved the most, providing care to others. She graduated from Harris High School in Chicago, IL and received her Degree as a Nurse Assistant from Key Business College in Newport News, Virgina.

Her love and care for others did not go unnoticed. Whether you needed a place to lay your head, a hot meal, motivation, or words of encouragement you could count on her. Her Children called her Mommy and if you were younger and had the pleasure of meeting her you left calling her Mommy too. Her family and friends called her Lois but she loved being called Lois Lane.

Delores leaves to cherish many loving memories; two Sons, Tyrone Pearson Jr. and Tyran Pearson, two Daughters; Tyrena Pearson and Tasha (Rick) Cobb. 14 amazing Grandchildren Dzhaena, Takeyya, LaMark, Jatavian, William, Detavian, Tyreanna, Anyya, Tristin, Amelliah, Ty'Gi'Anna, Ty'Leigha, Tyi, and Tyion. 5 wonderful Great Grandchildren; Mason, Tamia, Mario Jr, K'Denn, and Detavian Jr. Mother, Alberta (William) Evans, Brothers; Johnny (Romona) Lottie, Russell Lottie, Jeffrey (Latrice) Lottie; Sister, Donna Lottie and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Father, Jerome Lottie; Grandson Tyshawn Pearson, Brothers; Jerome Lottie Jr and Ricky Lottie; Sisters, Carolyn Lottie and Pamela Lottie and a special friend Wendell Taylor.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
