Demario Latrell "D boy" Hobson of Rockford departed this earthly life June 29, 2022. He was born November 14, 1988 in Rockford, IL the son of Vanessa Hobson and Trovoie Huggins. Demario was employed in the janitorial field many years by Cleaning by Bettye and recently by Golden Corral. He attended St. Paul Church of God in Christ with his grandmother and attended House of Grace with his mother. He attended Jefferson High School and later graduated from Fountain of Life Academy.

Demario leaves to cherish many loving memories, five daughters, Tajanique,  Mareanna, Queanna, M'Kyleigh and DeMiyah Hobson ; son Malik Brown; mother Vanessa (William ) Harris; maternal grandmother Bettye L. Hobson; sisters, Raven Huggins, Vanai Harris, Kegan Huggins, and Champaine Harris;  brothers, William, Laquan, Nicholas, and Isaiah ,  Dashea, and Cordaine Harris, Jason and Jerimiah Simmons, and Will Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and special friends. He was predeceased by his father; brother Kristopher Huggins.

Services will be 12:00 noon Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Paul Church of God in Christ 1001 Bishop Washington Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cmetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
