Deshawn D. "Big Baby" Lott, of Rockford, departed this earthly life February 5, 2024. He was born June 3, 1989 in Harvey, IL the son of Anganita E. Lott and Lloyd Terese Thomas. Deshawn lived in Rockford 11 years coming from Maywood, IL. He was a member of Refuge Bible Church, serving in the youth choir. He graduated from Proviso East in Maywood, IL.

Deshawn leaves to cherish many loving memoires, his daughter, Milah Hutsell; mother, Angnita Lott and father, Terry Thomas; two brothers, Jerrell Thomas and Terry Thomas II; two sisters, Jasmine and Jada Lott; maternal grandmother, Callie Gill; maternal great grandmother Mary E. Lott; a host of niece, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousin other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Audrianna Thomas and Chaquil Thomas.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
