Donna Kay Jones, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 24, 2024. She was born October 10, 1962 in Arkansas the daughter of LT and Magnolia Jones. Donna lived in Rockford since 1987 coming from Chicago, IL. She married Dallas Jones,  May 27, 1999. Donna was employed 32 years by Milestone before retiring; later to be employed by Alden Debes Subacute. She attended Clemente High School in Chicago, later receiving her G.E.D.

Donna leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Dallas; daughter, Ladonna (Derrick) Bassett; two sons, Tyrone (Shanetha) Jones and Ronald Rodgers ; 9 grandchildren; four sisters, Pearlie (Eddie) Dyes, Shirley Jones, Gertrude Lockett and Ella Wells; four brothers, James Rodgers, Larry Rodgers, Charlie Rodgers and LT Jones; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Roosevelt James and Johnny James.

Services will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, October 7, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
