Dorothy Jean Stanback, of Rockford departed this earthly life May 19, 2024. She was born December 31, 1948 in Greenwood, MS the daughter of Albert and Rosie Stanback. Dorothy lived in Rockford since 2020 coming from Greenwood, MS. She married Clifford Milton, he preceded her in death. Dorothy was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant doing private duty. She was a member of a church in Greenwood MS.  She graduated from Schools in Greenwood and later received her C.N.A. Certification.

Dorothy leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, Ronald (Joannie) Taylor and Ricardo (Tamara) Taylor;  daughter, Francis Milton; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and brother, Dave Stanback; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Pichone and Micheal Milton; sisters Ethel McClendon, Alberta Stewart and Yvonne Stanback; and brothers Charles, Henry Lee, and Roosevelt Stanback.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, June 3, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Avenue. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
