Dorothy L. "Doll" Waller, of Rockford, departed this earthly life July 16, 2022. She was born December 10, 1949 in Vance, MS the daughter of James and Rebecca Fields. Dorothy lived in Rockford many years then moved to Hammond, Indiana and returned back to Rockford in 1991. She married Clarence Waller February 3, 1982, he preceded her in  death. Dorothy attended school in Mississippi, later to receive her G.E.D. and attended Rockford Business College.

Dorothy leaves to cherish many loving memories, her son, Colongee Waller; two daughters, Tammie and Stacy Robinson; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brother, Willie Fields; six sisters, Cora Anderson, Bobbie Jean Williams, Rebecca Harrington, Ruth Fisher, Ruthie Wilson and Annie Fields; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter, Charity Robinson; parents; sisters, Christine Black, Dollie Cain and Willa Glover; brothers, James Fields, Thomas Fields, Henry Fields and Jessie Fields.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
