Dwayne Netters, 49, of Rockford departed this earthly life July 2, 2023. He was born June 30 1974 the son of Nina Mae Prymer and Royce Gates, Sr. Dwayne married Tracy Box, July 29, 2017. He was employed as a Prep Line Operator by Elgiloy Specialty Metals 12 years before becoming ill. Dwayne was an extreme video gamer and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He graduated Jefferson High School class of 1992.

Dwayne leaves to cherish many loving memories, his loving wife Tracy; son, Eterrius Netters; step daughters, Zharia and Rylee Armstrong; special niece who he loved like a daughter, MarKayla Box-McAdory; sister, Chandra (Frank) LeGree; brothers, Johnny (Mahalla) Prymer, Richard Prymer, Royce Gates Jr., Darnell (Tracie) Gates;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special aunts, Elnora Burroughs, Azzie Lee Lester and Lillie Primes and sister in law Felicia Garrett. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Jacqueline Prymer; and brother Derrick Gates.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery . Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service
