Dwight Wayne Berryhill, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 23, 2026. He was born April 11, 1953 in Ripley, TN the son of Jessie Halliburton and Mattie Berryhill. Dwight lived in Rockford since 1965 coming from Ripley. He married the former Carolyn Blatcher, March 2, 1995. Dwight was employed as a truck driver by Rock River Chemical  8 years, Budweiser and Overnight Trucking. He attended schools in Tennessee and graduated from Auburn High School and attended Truck Driving School.

Dwight leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Carolyn Berryhill; three sons, Jerry (Nashica) Wilson, Dwyatt (Tonya) Berryhill and Dcarian (Vanessa) Berryhill; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Ann Ellington and Renee Berryhill; two brothers, Robert (Montina) Berryhill and Thomas Earl (Shelly) Berryhill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special cousin, Kent ( Collettia) Berryhill. He was predeceased by his parents.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m.  Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 12:00 noon until the time of service.
