Earlean Crawford

Earlean Crawford departed this earthly life September 6, 2026. She was born August 23, 1948 in Durant, MS the daughter of Voley and Mattie Love. Earlean lived in Rockford most of her life coming from Durant. She married Willie Crawford, later to divorce. Earlean was self employed as a Cosmetologist many years. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served in the choir and a former member of Gethsemane Christian Church. Earlean loved to play bingo. She graduated from Rockford West High School and graduated from Albertos School of Cosmetology.

Earlean leaves to cherish many loving memories, her son, Julius Crawford and daughter, Annetta Fort; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; four brothers, Gary Lewis, Robert Lewis, James Lewis and Michael Lewis; six sisters, Annie Smith, Katherine Holmes, Martha Lewis, Patricia Love, Dorothy (David Johnson) Little, and Michelle Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; Voley and Mattie; son, Willie Crawford Jr., daughter, Selina Crawford; and brother Donald Lewis.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
