Earnstine  "Bigal" Matlouck of Rockford departed this earthly life December 5, 2023. She was born February 19, 1950 in Vance, MS the daughter of Luther and Inez Tennin. Earnstine lived in Rockford many years coming from Mississippi. She married Eddie Matlouck Sr. in 1964, he preceded her in death. Earnstine was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant by Fairview Nursing Home. She was a avid Bingo player. Earnstine attended schools in Mississippi, later receiving her G.E.D. at Roosevelt Alternative School.

Earnstine leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, James and Eddie Matlouck;  10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; special niece who she raised as her daughter, India Tinnie; two special great nieces, Shandia and Nealliccia Tinnie; brother George Tennin and sister, Jessie Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, husband; five sisters and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m.  Friday, December 15, 2023 at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home
