Elmer "Mack" McMorris Jr., of Rockford departed this earthly life July 16, 2024. He was born December 25, 1947 in Beloit, WI the son of Elmer Sr. and Betty Jean McMorris. Elmer lived in Rockford most of his life coming from Beloit. He married Betty Fuzzell, she preceded him in death. He attended Fountain of Life in Beloit, WI. Elmer was employed as a welder by Rockford Foundry. He attended Auburn High School.

Elmer leaves to cherish many loving memories, his step daughter Regina Fuzzell;  seven grandchildren; sister, Donna Williams; step brother Ronnie Harris; a host nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; parents; step daughter, Greta Fuzzell; sister, Olivera Hanserd; and two brothers Robert Lee Schumaker and Burl Hanserd.

Memorial services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, July  23, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. doors will be open from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
