Eunice Michele Beeks-Green, of Rockford departed this earthly life August 16, 2021. She was born May 12, 1962 in Rockford the daughter of Willa Mae Beeks and Earnest Brown.  She married James W. Green, of this union a daughter was born. Eunice was employed as a Public Relations Manager at Rockford Housing Authority for 27 years. She was a  faithful member of St. Paul Church of God In Christ, serving as an Evangelist, with the Women's Ministry, Women's Auxiliary, Jail Ministry and Singles Ministry. Eunice also served as an Mt. Calvary District Department of Evangelism Elect Lady.

She attended West High School later to receive her G.E.D.  going on to recieve her Associates Degree from Rock Valley College, Bachelor Degree from Loyola University and Masters Degree from University of Phoenix.

Eunice leaves to cherish many loving memories, daughter, Shanetha Jones; three granddaughters, Sylver Wesley, SiCret Wesley and Treasure Jones; great grandson Kashden Faust; two step daughters, Laquita Green, and Shaquita Green-Washington; brother, Michael Beeks; three sisters, Patricia Blackman, LaVoyne M. Smith and Rita Kaye Beeks; special friend, Alfred Marshall; god daughters, Latricia Smith, Vernetta Bedford-Wells; godsons, Mecose Johnson and Mitchell L. Williams Jr;  a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. 1001 Bishop Washington Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
