Evelyn Allen, 67, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 28, 2022. She was born December 12, 1954 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Betty Coble. Evelyn married James Allen in 1972 in Rockford, IL, he preceded her in death. She was a member of Crosspoint church. Evelyn graduated from Auburn High School, later graduating from Rock Valley College.

Evelyn leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter Betty Allen; three grandchildren, Kelli Beasley, Ebony and Stephen Brown; four great grandchildren; best friend, Rosie Moore; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother and three great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
