Ezra Lee Allen II., of Rockford departed this earthly life January 5, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 6, 1947 in Greenfield, TN the son of Ezra Sr. and Anne Allen. Ezra lived in Rockford since 1967 coming from Greenfield. He married the former Mary Martin, February 15, 1995, she preceded him in death.  Ezra was employed in Paint Corrections by Chrysler Corporation 30 years before retiring. He was a member of State Street Church of Christ. He graduated from Greenfield High School.

Ezra leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, Tremel (Latricia) Dunkin; his daughter, Kimberly Allen; 8 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step daughters, Brenda Martin and Elaine (Willie) Martin Rushing; step son, Maurice Martin; two brothers, Fred (Jessie) Allen and Johnny Allen; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; wife; son, Ezra Lee Allen III; two brothers, Lannie Allen and William "Bill" Allen; and sister, Lois Jean King.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Ine.  200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
