Frances Louise "Sis" Waller of Rockford departed this earthly life October 20, 2022. She was born July 26, 1956 in Rockford the daughter of Jesse and Margaret Jones. Frances married Vincent Waller, November 22,  2018, he preceded her in death.  She was employed as Family Support Specialist by the City of Rockford, Head Start Program 30 years before retiring. Frances was a member Pilgrim Baptist Church serving as the president of the Welcome ministry.  She graduated from East High School and received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from Cardinal Stretch College.

Frances leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter, Angellet Tidwell; grand daughter Arial Reed; brothers, David Jones, Lonny Jones,  Jimmie C. Jones and Kenneth Jones; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers, Ivory Jones, Johnny Jones, Michael Jones and Ralph Jones.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Pilgrim Baptist Church 1703 S. Central Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held form 11:00 a.m. until the time service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
