Gregory Alan Taylor of Rockford departed this earthly life February 2, 2022. He was born July 21, 1961, in Rockford the son of Robert and Lue Taylor. Gregory was employed as a fabricator by Eco Lab 23 years. He was baptized as a youth at Christian Union Full Gospel Baptist Church. He attended Auburn High School, later receiving his G.E.D.

Gregory leaves to cherish many loving memories, his mother Lue Briggs; sister, Patricia Taylor and brother Marc Taylor; four nieces, Aleijha, Ashley, Kesha and Olivia; nephews, Marc Jr., Derrick and Jeremy; a host of great nieces, and nephews' other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by father; sister, Annette Taylor; and stepfather, Arbie Briggs.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Door will be open from 1:00p.m.
