Henrietta "Owl Face" Washington , of Rockford departed this earthly life May 1, 2025. She was born October 13, 1958 in Starkville, Mississippi the daughter of Willie Williams and Nellie Roberts. Henrietta lived in Rockford over 50 years coming from Chicago. She was employed as a assembler by Android 18 years before retiring. Henrietta was a member of The Banner of Truth Family Church, serving on the prayer team.  She graduated from East High School and attended Rust College in Holly Spring, MS. Henrietta was a loving mother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. She loved to spend time with her loved ones, and travel.

Henrietta leaves to cherish many loving memories, her son, Dion M. Washington; brother, Curtis Washington; special nephews, Alonzo Wilson, and Marcus Lee Dyson; special nieces, Shandia Tennie and  Neallica Tennie; two god children, Josiah Williams and Jerrod Williams; committed partner, Milton King Jr; best friends, Lavern Jack, Karen Weatherall and Cookie Grijaliba. She was predeceased by her parents, Willie Williams and Nellie Robinson; sister Frances Wilson; and brother Douglas Washington.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025 at The Banner of Truth Family Church 6732 Harrison Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
