Henry Earl Rogers, of Rockford, departed this earthly life, Saturday, October 1, 2022 in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born May 30, 1948 the son of Willie Joe and Willie Mae Rogers in Bonita, LA. Moved to Rockford in 1972.  He married his wife Ruby Rogers in 1977. Henry attended Union High School in Mer Rouge, LA. He was a member of Faith Center Church. For years he worked for McDermaid Roofing Company before becoming self employed as a truck driver, also working with A.P. Trucking.

Henry Earl Rogers leaves to cherish many loving memories: his wife Ruby Rogers, three daughters; Tracy (Dennis) Martin, Cassandra (Leonard) Finley, Earshealy (Robert) Lee; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grand children. Siblings; William Rogers, Willie Rogers, and Joan Toston, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, 5 siblings, and daughter; Fortina Jackson.

Services will be held 11am Saturday, October 7, 2022 in Carl E. Ponds Funeral home, 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation 9am till 11 am.
