Howard "Wilbert" McCullough of Rockford departed this earthly life October 16, 2022. He was born April 11, 1955 in Athens, Alabama the son of Homer and Margaret McCullough. Howard lived in Rockford since 1970 coming from Athens, Alabama. He was employed as a machine operator by Sundstrand 35 years before retiring. He attended schools in Athens, Alabama.

Howard leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Sh'keele Wiggins and Shaymon Thomas; son, Howard McCullough Jr.; four grandchildren; Mecca, Patricia, Donavon and Clairissa; two sisters, Margaret (Louis) Foreman and Florence (Al) Stewart; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including former wife and companion of many years, Martha Scott. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters; four brothers.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
