Jalyah Noel "Leelee" Thompson 11, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 21, 2025. She was born July 6, 2013 in Rockford the daughter Kendall Trevino and Lewis Thompson. Jalyah attended City First Church. She attended Eisenhower Middle School.

Jalyah leaves to cherish her precious memories, her father, Lewis Thompson; sister, Jada Mackenzie Trevino and brother Michael Richard Trevino; paternal grandparents, Arlain Thompson and Lewis Gregg; maternal grand mother, Rhonda Trevino; paternal great grandmother, Grace Stone; paternal great great grandmother, Minnie Stone; god brother, Jovoni Trevino; aunts, Carissa Thompson, Deanaka, Kyla and Katrina Trevino; uncles, Kevin (Sad'e Rose Fuller) Thompson and Dontay Thompson;  a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends including best friend Davon Lewis. She was predeceased by her mother, Kendall Trevino; and maternal grandfather, Richard Rocky Salinas Trevino.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at City First Church 5950 Spring Creek Road. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home
